Louis XIV (1643-1715)

The first age of elegance. Louis, called "The Sun King" for adopting that fiery firmament as the Royal Emblem, was the epitome of style and good design.

Early Georgian (1715 - 1723)

Born in Hanovarian Germany in 1660 and late to the throne, the Bavarian influence is easy to observe in the decorative lines of this period. Under George, the Baroque reached it's dramatic eminence.

Louis XV (1723-1724)

The reign of Louis XV marks the end of Baroque and the start of the lighter, more refined style of the Rococo. This range is a fine example of the elaborate ornamentation and delicacy of the period.

Georgian (1725-1760)

Continuing in the Rococo, this period of Georgian rule saw the Italian influence come to prominence. In the Georgian range the lighter, more youthful style is evident in the delicate clean tooling.

Adam (1770-1810)

Born in Scotland in 1728, Robert Adam was greatly influenced by his grand tour of Italy in 1755. The Brassart Adam range was created to reflect the magnificent neo-classical interiors that he created. Kedleston Hall, Culzean Castle and Home House in Portman Square serve as a fine monument to the renowned Scottish architect.
